Description: Training for the Horse & Pony Care section of the C Test with Jean Preston.
Consists of 3 x hour long virtual sessions delivered via Zoom and a one hour practical session in person at Jean's yard in Charlwood. We will run the sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm.
Dates are as follows:
1. 3rd & 4th March
2. 11th & 12th March
3. 17th & 18th March
4. In-person practical session on weekend 28th/29th March, ponies not required. Date/Time to suit all but will be in the afternoon.
We will put you into groups for the zoom training - please say if you can only do one of the evenings.

Description: Easter General Rally running from 10am to 2pm. Choose between three options (you may book both a dressage and a SJ lesson if wished but no more than 2 sessions per pony):
Show Jumping Group lesson in the Bill Kear Arena. Instructor: Michaela Tomlinson. Must be capable of jumping a course of at least 50cm unassisted in that arena. Groups of similar ability for an hour, heights up to 1m, coat £24.
Dressage Group lesson for all abilities. Instructor: Anna Kempner. Groups of 3 of similar ability for 45 mins, cost £15.
Group General lessons in the indoor school for all ages/abilities including Tiny Trotters. Instructor: Murphy Matthews. Will include some polework/jumping and D/D+ training as appropriate. Tiny Trotters will be at either 10am or 11am. Cost £12.50.
There is also the option for prospective new members to book a Free Taster session. This will be a general lesson.
Times will be issued at the weekend before.

Description: Visit to Lingfield Equine Vets to carry out a dissection of a horse's leg.
This Rally is aimed at our older members (11+) who are interested in pursuing a veterinary or other equestrian career and/or who wish to take their higher Pony Club Tests.
The dissection will be related to basic horse anatomy & structures, lameness relevance and will include discussion/advice on veterinary careers.

Description: Residential Senior Camp for members of The Old Surrey & Burstow Branch and of The Surrey Union Branch of The Pony Club. Members must be aged 12 years old and over as at 31.8.26 (ie must be currently in school year 7 or above).
Come and join us for 5 days (4 nights) of fun with your horse/pony!
Children stay overnight and sleep in tents, lorries or trailers.
Horses/ponies stay either in permanent american barn stabling or in temporary stables.
Camp arrival & departure times will be arranged to avoid rush hour traffic.
Total cost will be approximately £420 including instruction, food for campers, use of extensive facilities, activities, camp T shirts, rosettes etc. This will be subsidised from Branch funds.
Deposit of £75 is required to confirm booking. This payment is fully refundable for any reason until the 28th February. Thereafter it is non-refundable unless we can fill your place. Further payments are required nearer the time.
